Hello Martin 911-87

Welcome aboard... just to add to the advice so far, I wanted to check mine
prior to purchase and on the advice of a specialist who checked the vehicle
I was told just to sit in the car, arm it via the fob and the intruder sensor then
becomes active (from memory) 15-20 seconds after the fob is pressed, so if
you get no alarm immediately...wait... then wave your arms around Exclamation

Good Luck

Thanks X4SK, and thanks for the advice! Thumbs Up
Just checked the car and the sensor is not installed.

/Martin

I have now installed a sensor in my car and everything works perfectly.
The wiring for the sensor was already installed in the car - it comes down from the centerline of the roof down to the B-pillar.
I remoeved the r/h backseat passenger handle consol (just above the door window) and ther I found the wiring with the connector.
I used a sensor from a Rover 75 that was at a scrap yard P/N: YWC102890.
