Wolfs are brilliant and have a little more offset, so good turning circle but they can rust - thinking of powder coating a set but still feel the nuts may crack the finish and the same will happen. Good luck with your decision . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

That’s very interesting actually to know the Wolf wheels would give a better turning circle!
We powder coated a set of steel wheels on one of our classics and wasn’t warned we needed to actually carefully scrape off the paint around the areas of the nut holes in order to enable a good grip. So we tightened them up as much as we could. But instead of cracking the paint - 20 minutes into our first journey with our flash new wheels on, we’re doing 65 mph at rush hour on the A14 dual carriageway heading to the NEC to show the car at the Classic Car show and we loose a wheel! The other 3 were all loose too!

So I guess I’m saying go ahead and get them powder coated. But scrape the paint off where the nuts contact the wheel hole edges - and don’t worry about cracking the paint. Thumbs Up

Complete tangent but are you missing fasteners on your bumper end caps?

Err sort of. I drilled and tapped the bumper and fitted countersunk stainless steel fastenings. You can see one on each hence no cap's. Sorry to confuse you even more Smilesapart, Im now thinking of painting them limestone for a sort of retro look Thumbs Up 2010 XS USW

How far out are the tyres in relation to the arches? Any effect on turning circle or handling?

The wheels sit nicely on the edge but well within the arches. Handling wise I don't notice a difference really but that may be just due to it being a new vehicle and fairly elderly with poor tyres previously, so haven't been pushing the old girl.

I need to adjust the steering stops to see if I can get more turn. However coming from 110's it already turns on a six pence!

old post ressurection.... JOW240725, how are you getting on with these 0ET rims? I saw a 110 yesterday with them and it looked really good.
I've got a P&P cage on my 110, so the top half of the bodywork looks a bit "wide" compared to a standard defender, and as such I think a slightly wider offset will give it a better looking balance (as in, not skinny legs! Laughing )

I was looking at these ones <----

Racedriver that looks awesome!! Monster roofrack!

Diesel_Jim I love the et0 offset, IMO the perfect set up. I'm now running et0 on the V8 and TDi, and think they're awesome. With the cage I think et0 will suit well.
