I was going to suggest the Wright matting earlier, but I don't think they do them for any gearboxes beyond the R380, and I think they're a bit spendy.
That said, I've got a set myself, have had for years and years. I got it at a good price off ebay about 10 or more years ago. The stuff really is bomb proof. I've not long bought a couple of the flat sheets and cut them up to fit in the back, on the strength of how good the front mats are. If you can get a set for your car, and you can find the cash, you'd never need anything else. I'd think the easiest other option would be to keep an eye out for a straight replacement for the standard stuff you have. I think it's got a thin foam back from memory, glued onto the seat box. You might be able to pick up some self-adhesive closed cell foam which you could them cover with the outer skin of the standard ones. More likely you'll find carpet 2nd hand, which might do too? Thanks for the reply. I have seen a few online tonight, not sure if they are puma 2012 or not though? If it comes to it I'll strip off the current one, make a template and find a suitable material and look that suits and make my own.

You may find a corner protector might hide some of the wear. (It depends on if the protector is wide enough to cover it?

The bits on offer are mine. They were from a 2015 puma with 20,000 miles and apart from needing a corner protector £15 are in mint condition. Only removed them as i removed the interior to replace with carpet.

Take a look at Mud UK, these are the ones I have. You may find there are others out there that are a bit bigger and might cover more of the area. Even if they don't it would look better. Sourcing these mats isn't easy, mine is tatty too and worn even though it hasn't had much actual wear. Usually on corners. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |
