That's good to hear. The engine seems to run on any old fuel but does run nicer on the posh stuff Thumbs Up

I had a random issue with mine just losing power (switching off) all dial went off then all back on a second later. Without me having to turn the key.

It would do this 3 times on a 14 mile trip to work or not at all for a few thousand miles.

No codes logged, nothing to go on.

Very unnerving when you start rolling in the middle lane of a motorway !!

Anyway new ignition barrel and touch wood all ok since the swap.

Thumbs Up

Oh well, I thought I had it sorted, but it is now ‘failing to proceed’.

I lost count of the number of stoppages this morning - well over 30 in a 10 mile trip. Just recently topped up the fuel and added some Exomax.

I did manage to get it to a garage, by keeping the RPM at or above 2000, and therefore having to keep in a low gear to control the speed. The fun part is trying to slow down, change gear, and keep the revs all at the same time!

Possible causes may now be along the lines of VCV, fuel lines or filters.

A cause at last. It's the fuel injector pump vapour valve, and the fuel pump pressure relief valve!

The Volume Control Valve would be my first suspect.
