We've got fox 2.0's on two of our vehicles and on both occasions I've had to use the original Landrover bushes with the original landrover washers turned upside down (not sure what the big spacers/washers should be called that support the bush?).

If you fit the Fox washers they hit the supporting metal cup the bush sits in on the rear axle. If you look at the vehicles they run these on in the states they all have completely flat shock mount brackets without any "cup" for the bush to sit in so the Fox parts work well.

We had one of the old 2.0's break the threaded bar out of the shock housing once where I'd fitted the fox washers and it had gradually cracked and damaged the shock where it impacted and levered against the cup on the axle as it articulated.

When I've used the OEM bushes and washers I've always found the fox's to be an awesome shock and never had any problems. Going to swap out my rears on the 130 to include the high and low speed adjustable compression damping to cope with the vast difference between laden and unladen - definitely under damped with a ton in the back.

All standard JST.

Joe: that’s exactly what I have ended up doing.

There was no issue with fit, they were just stiff as hell!

Fox ones, but inverted so that the rim of the washer as it were is facing away from the cups.
