Sounds like fob battery. Check the appropriate owner's manual section, it gives the symptoms and the change procedure.

have two fobs one doesnt flash indicators on unlock, then used the other but used to flash indicators when you unlock , now that doesnt , ,

I would replace both batteries. Even if wrong, not much to loose, easiest fix. But, check/follow the owners manual process.

Is the lack of flashing by design to let you know the batteries are nearly dead? I recently had the problem of not being able to unlock one morning - turned out to be the battery in the fob. 2 weeks later I'd have been on holiday and have been in a real pickle.
