Yep. That's what I'd do.

Hi All,

After breaking down 5 weeks ago the car was finally repatriated at the end of last week and repaired very quickly by the outstanding team at Broadlane LandRover in Westbury. The problem was the output shaft which was repaired for £700; not the €4K quote the French garage provided the RAC.

Output shaft?

A good guess!

Glad you got it sorted. I think I may have seen you today at Broad Lane. Was yours the silver Puma? Mine was the black 110 parked outside.

Yes. That was me. I had my eye on your black 110 - looked very nice. What a brilliant garage.

How many miles has it done and was there any live left at all or completely dry and knackered? I’m guessing it’s the latter. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Yes, they are excellent and lovely people too.

Plus there is usually a nice selection of Land Rovers to look at.

62k miles. It looks as though it wasn’t inserted all the way into its casing as there were 2 different colours on the shaft. The mechanic thought it may have been sitting 1-2cm short. It now sits in an Ashcroft upgrade covered in oil.
