Thanks for uploading the video, It looks to be everything the new defender isn't. I like this video of theirs where they take the S out of SUV and call it a utility vehicle. Nearer to our DNA that the current LR offering i think.

"INEOS Automotive has confirmed that in parallel, it will be investing in a sub-assembly plant in Estarreja, Portugal. The facility will produce the Grenadier’s body and chassis, working in conjunction with INEOS’s European supply chain partners."

Would be nice to know who the company is; the only thing I can see on Wiki is "Estarreja is an important chemical industry centre, being the place where several industrial facilities of CUF are located.". Maybe that's the link?

Location figures as Ineos is the owner/operator of numerous petrol-chemical works. Plenty of vacant land around their Grangemouth shale gas terminal too........ Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

We’re building the Grenadier in Bridgend, South Wales. Engineered for the world. Built in Britain. Our uncompromising off-roader is for those who depend on a vehicle as a hard-working tool, wherever they are in the world.

Built in Britain is a stretch. German engine probably built in Eastern Europe, Body and chassis built in Portugal. Parts from Europe. Final assembly in Bridgend with a projected workforce of 200 perhaps rising to 500 depending on sales.

However despite all that and the absolutely terrible advert I would actually be interested.
That's assuming the German designers don't balls it up and they actually get it to market before EV takes over the world.

BMW-diesel engines are actually built in Austria, so not built in eastern europe.
