The first problem was weld or grinder spatter on one of the quarter glass window which they just sent me a new one, after that it was all downhill I will post the other pics later.

I need to learn how to upload pictures.

We offered the new windows to the apertures and they were to big I thought they were a direct replacement for the factory ones we removed them and made them fit by making the apertures bigger that was the first mistake we are now committed to fitting the windows.

The windows come pre-drilled so you can offer them up to the panel and mark it for drilling the rivet holes we did this then applied the sealant to the frame put it in the panel and inserted the rivets I held the frame and my mate started to pop the rivets only to find the holes are mostly out of line they must have been drilled free hand when we pop the rivets this made it so you could not insert the rubber which hides the rivets and make it water proof, I must say the holes looked ok till we started to pop the supplied rivets and at this point there was no way back.

More to come later.

I forgot to mention when I first rang Masai about the windows I asked about fitting they wanted £400 and could not guarantee they would not damage my side panels removing the factory fitted windows and if they did I would need to have the panoramic windows fitted they would cover the any damage.

I sent Masai the pictures of the rivets and was told if I drove to their workshop the would fit the rubber insert I asked how they would do this and was told they would drill out any out of line rivets and drill new holes I said you can forget that the boss also said I would get 10% of my next purchase I told him that would not happen.

My mate said let the silicon go off and we will sort it tomorrow he drilled all the rivets out countersunked the holes and fitted countersunk rivets then the rubber insert was fitted, time to fit the inside panels I opened the back door and started laughing my mate said whats up so I showed him and he said OMG.

Take a look at there logo and kite marks half way up the glass.

We then started to inspect the windows on the inside we found some of the trims had gaps and were below the frame they have used straight rubbers to go round corners instead of preformed rubber to go round the corners anyway this is the quality of side windows supplied by Masai (Omega Automotive Limited)4x4.
