Holy thread resurrection Bat Man!

After seeing the new Defender unveil yesterday I remembered that I had visited here from the RRS forum to give a heads up on what I had seen of the proposed new Defender when invited along to a LR market research day.

Many on here though that I was some sort of JLR spy sent to try to gauge the reaction of existing Defender owners and enthusiasts.

Well from reading what I posted 5 years ago I think that I gave a fairly good idea of what was to come.

Do I like the new Defender? Yes, I do. However the price tag and tech take it into Range Rover country!

I have been invited along to my local dealership when they get one in so it will be interesting to see it in the flesh. It will be even more interesting to drive it!

On a side note - I also predicted that Defenders would increase in value. If only I could predict the numbers on the Euro Lottery eh? 🤔
