Hi, I believe the control panel is supposed to illuminate on the air conditioning, can anyone confirm this?

OMG! I have never seen the A/C unit illuminated, thought it was always just dark.

Mine used to light up after a few taps. Doesn't do it anymore. |

Damm yet another job neither of my land rover ac control panel light up so that twice I will have to do this |

i think I posted some pics a few years ago. the bulbs are not easy to change as they are small capless bulbs that are soldered in place.

Yup same here, lack of illumination on the AC switches. Mind you coming from a 1992 Defender before this 2003 I was completely oblivious for at least 18 months to the fact that the heater controls on the dash were meant to be illuminated |

Hi all, as an update, I managed to source some 2.5cm Led strips in the blue and green colour, they are 12v rated so no issues with having to get resistors too.

Most of the single led bulbs that I could find were lower voltage so you would need a resistor too, the strips seemed like an easy option, I assume they have a resistor built into the strip circuit. |
