Good to have an update and sounds like your getting there Thumbs Up

Sorry to say, but you have to make the time somehow to progress further for the added miles, good luck Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

As someone who spent 6 months as a bike test rider doing between 1000 to 1200 miles a month.... Are you doing your training ride day after day, or with a break? If you're only doing a couple of sessions a week. the killer comes after a couple of days with no break off - it's then when you'll feel it as your body has not had a deal with a reduced recovery time, despite a lot of pre-event training. Your backside will also appreciate the daily, no break, training as well!!!!

Good luck with the ride!!

I believe that the bicycle has evolved with the addition of a small internal combustion engine.

Would this help Whistle Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

E-mountain bikes are pretty good these days though - restricted to 15mph but can be derestricted just like a car’s ECU with a remap...... Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Good decision about getting out there come rain or sunshine, i know when i was training it was hard to get the enthusiasm to go out in the rain, but after a few times it was good, you felt you are winning here and the best thing is that you don't get to hot Wink 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. At which point I'm led to believe they are basically classed as a moped and you need licence/ insurance / etc ???

with about 6 weeks to go I'm wondering if I've bit off a little too much - as much as anything due to the time limitations Confused

Must not think like that, positive thoughts only Wink

Even if you have not had enough time to train, you must still go ahead and it's surprising what a bit of Adrenalin does and works wonders and most of all, enjoy the ride Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.
