I do like to see a polished tip, although I think you could have gone a bit further in. You can see the cut off line after the hanger Whistle

The Dremels are good and the fabric polishing heads are cheap enough to buy in bulk too. 👍 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

I would have gone all the way, but after 2 hours doing the tip, my arm/hand needed a rest Laughing

I shall refrain from making any further dodgy comment. Rolling with laughter

You can get polishing mops for cordless drills too, but it'd likely be too awkward and or large to get in the areas concerned.

The only things that's annoying with polishing tools is the mess and having to need a mask and all that on, especially this weather and if not careful it can get everywhere.
Mind you Stainless takes some polishing anyway.

I'd like the Alive exhaust system ... one day, the list never ends. Rolling with laughter Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

Now this system takes no polishing at all, it’s the one I have and it cleans up very well just in a normal wash! 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

That’s probably because it’s factory polished and many LR systems are raw finish stainless I’d imagine.
Personally I can’t see any point in an exhaust bar stainless on a Defender, it won’t last five minutes otherwise. Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

I don't think it was made well at all, The back box dropped off, so the exhaust place just did away with it. so its got one large pipe now. plus it just moves about, so he is forever tightening it sadly. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
