At least LR stays true to its roots!
Quote:
How would you feel if your luxury car had a significant water leak allegedly due to flawed assembly but the dealership showed a "none-of-my-business" attitude?

This nightmarish scenario is a reality for a South Korean man who bought a Land Rover Discovery for 100 million won ($86,600) last year, according to an SBS TV report.

Water started leaking in from the car's roof six months after he bought it. He reportedly took the car to an accredited repair center twice, but the leak continued.

Sorry, couldn't resist... At least, that gives hopes for the new Defender!

Yet, never had water leak issues with any of my (much cheaper) cars before... while both my Defender and Discovery leaked. “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique.

At 8 years old my Skoda Yeti developed a leak from the sun roof due to a blocked/damaged drain pipe. Skoda fixed it in 2 days including drying out all the carpets with excellent customer care and follow up. if I was tempted to buy a new Defender I certainly would not have one with a sun roof
