What an awesome morning I had busting clays yesterday. The wife even came along, thoroughly enjoyed it! Took me about an hour n a half to clean my gun (I gave it a thorough deep cleep, still need to learn how to get the ejectors & action out, but that will come)
My Rizzini is second hand, and don't think it has been used or cleaned in a long time. But the barrels are starting to get a mirror finish 😁 😎 Then I had some great grub at my in-laws, walked the dog n then just chilled in the eve. 😁 😎 🤗 The journey to get to the grounds is a nice drive to, about 40 mins, and the latter part through the country and some lane is lush in the Defender. I wish I got a shot of the Defender n my gun, maybe next time.. I renewed my insurance with Adrian Flux last month, they came back about £50 cheaper.. I did phone around a couple other brokers, no one would touch me because of all my mods...
I added a few new mods on the insurance too, things I had added since I first renewed it.. Like stereo and speakers(speakers not added yet) and stickers. There is so much listed they can't get it all on the paperwork, like my led lights aren't listed, so I phoned them to check and they do know about it, but havnt listed it. I also want to fit a safe in the truck. That is also shockingly insecure, since those L&F barrel locks can be opened as quickly without the key as they can with the key. I would never consider leaving a firearm in a box with that standard of lock.  |
