Td5 crank sensor o ring part no?
Bought a used genuine crank sensor on eBay for my td5 to keep as a spare in the car. Was going to test it to make sure it’s functional but it hasn’t come with an o ring, anyone know the number or if where I can get one?

Use the one off the one you take out when you replace it. Or take it out and measure it and order from one of the many suppliers on the net.

Is the metal plate NSJ000010 what you mean? I have a both the sensor and NSJ000010 in unopened packages and I don't see any rubber O ring.

Well interestingly I’ve been looking into it and none of the genuine ones have one but most of the aftermarket ones do.
So makes sense that my genuine one doesn’t.

The green o ring on the aftermarket one vs the slot on the genuine pictured

Why would an O ring actually be necessary there? Antares Treadwell, a MY06 110 Td5 in Chawton White

I've just bought a genuine one from a LR dealership here in South Africa and mine came with the o-ring already fitted. 2002 110 TD5 White
