2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Cairns Blue

Sometime in the last six months I saw a replacement seal for the bottom of the door, I have tried looking on internet and I cannot find it. The foam was bonded to a stainless angle, the angel had a number of holes in it, the purchaser needed to drill the bottom of the door and insert plastic clips. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to

us off.

Thanks for all the help

I have checked this morning and only the passenger door is missing the door seal and the foam insert - not sure why??? but I will get the parts ordered this week

I've just put new, genuine lower seals on my new doors, and there is clearly a couple of inches on either end that isn't covered/sealed. I could use some foam blocks - I think that's what's supposed to be there - but I'm still tempted by using these bigger seals.

This lad has done it with just a couple of extra holes on the sides of the doors. It does look from some of the photos that the seals might be a little proud on the sides of the doors, but other than that, seems to work OK? Donald

Fair enough!

I am tempted though. Not just because of the bits that come up the sides, but also because the bit along the bottom of the door seems more substantial than what's basically a bit of rubber with a 90' bend in it! Donald
