Removing gearbox.... starter off?
Just changing the clutch on my 110. I'm about ready to attach the crane to the gearbox and drop it out.

Does the starter need to come right out? Or is it just the 2 lower bolts on it that go through to the bellhousing? (or none at all?)

It's been ages since I had a Td5 box off... I can't remember!

cheers

All need to come off, was doing it last weekend. One at the back is a stud coming from the gearbox with a nut holding on the starter

I'll add that to the never ending list of stuff that I need to take a look at whilst I'm under there

engine mounts
change clutch slave cyl
exhaust manifold gasket
air filter
leaking rocker cover
leaking core plug (under exhaust manifold)
clutch
spigot bush
transfer box oil leak
cut a chunk out of the gearbox crossmember to clear the t/box RH mounting rubber (I built this with a crossmember instead of the chassis welded on mounts)

I'm sure more will follow....

roll on when I get a G.... Whistle
