Rear window trim fixings?
Hi all,

I just bought some second hand window trim which I'm wanting to fix to my hardtop and I'm trying to work out which fixing I need.



From the picture above I see that theres what looks like a bracket, screw and washer needed to fix the bottom of the trim, but I can't find any item numbers for the same in the following picture, have these been replaced with the fir trees (No. 20?) (EZM100340LNF) and if so do I still need some kind of bracket for the fir trees to fix into?

From memory, originally the fixings were bolts into captive nut plates (the rectangular part in your first diagram), which slotted behind the angles structure along the top of the tub. Later, these were replaced with fir tree fixings. Darren

Mine simply has the Fir Tree fitting that push through into holes drilled in the frame.

Ah brilliant thanks, thats what I was hoping.

I've measured the fir tree needed and I think its item no. EZM100340LNF but now I can only find these for sale on ebay and for 3 it will cost £13.94 Shocked

That part is obsolete, the new part number is AWR2539LNF.

Rimmers sell them for £1.58 each.

Ah thanks Bob, I've managed to find some for the range rover P38 seat base which "should" be the same for 10 for £2.89, if those don't work I'll give Rimmers a try
