15P engine is in, the idle quality is great with the MSB Ecu, but my NNN Ecu is having problems. I am unable to communicate with it, and wite the injector codes in.

I sent an email to my seller, but i am not expecting a reply by tuesday, its fine, i need to fix up the interior, install my newer seats, sound proofing material, and fix my AC system.

Thanx, we are getting to the bottom of my ecu problem,

Seems the firmware in the ecu isnt booting up. Am looking into ways to salvage it.

I had a yr warranty on it, and that expired last month...JUST MY LUCK

I installed a set of springs that are one step softer than i previously had, and now i see the car leans to the left. In the front the right side is 12mm taller than the left and in the rear i am 30mm taller on the right than the left.

I am waiting on a calibration file from Alive for my new NNN ecu, but it starts and runs with throttle control.

Just need to figure this lean out, and also find out why it also pulls to one side while at speed.

Ac works great, yanked out the smaller HVAC for a larger purely AC system. Cools the cab right down in second speed.

Got my alive tune, not very happy with it, but what do i expect, out of sight out of mind.

Door panels are installed, and i added heat barrier with sound proofing. This way my legs dont cook as i drive down the highway and the radio volume can actually be normal... Also installed a 110 side step so the Livid wife may climb in easier. AC is all done and much cooler with more flow. It runs, drives and puffs between shifts...

I am running Snow Performance, VC-50 on my ride. I am running into a slight problem where my gogo juice is running out after 30-60km.

I had a word with SP, and they suggested their stage 3 kit. I will tap into the Injector outputs from my ECU, and then run my WM injection based off injector duty instead of boost.

When i am runnin at 120+km i am at full boost all the time, that throws my VC-50 off, for it thinks the more the boost the more work is being done. The VNT is going to max boost all the time, for as long as it can. So my other alternative is to run off the injectors so when i get to a duty cycle above my 120 cruisin it starts to toss in the WM mixture for more power.

Have you painted the 130? What isn’t the finish?

I painted it in the original color but left the finish matt and not glossy

I had the bright idea of swappin my transfercase from 1.410 to 1.211:1.

So i thougt i was smart when i got a disco2 TC.

Missin the central diff lock

Back to the junkyard, bought a disco1 TC. Swapped the diff lock nose to the disco2 TC case.

Upon assembly we found the input cog was wrapped. One more time to the junk yard, one more disco2 TC.

Everythin sorted and assembled. Wouldnt you know it, the electronic speed sensor doesnt fit the black speed gear, and the blue one doesnt fit the gear ratio of the disco2.

Got the dremel out cut the box bigger, and filed the speed input shaft so everything is snug.

The Junkyard is a 75min drive ea way. But it all comes out cheaper than buyin parts from the uk and shippin to me

I did order the complete OH kit from Ashcroft via LRParts, and all the Bespoke upgrades from Syncrogearboxes, 300M intermediate shaft, and 300M Xpin.

Changed my methanol injection controller from boost reference to 0-5v reference. Used the maf as the 0-5v and currently have it where it activates around 4v and maxin out at 5v for power and mileage.

Currently i am very happy with it, just waitin on Jose to fly in, make the tune right, and take a look at my turbo. Takes a while to kick in.

Impressive stuff.

Did you sort the clutch in the end? May be worth giving Luke @ LOF a call.

Nice. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I'm told by those that know that Jose works wonders with TD5's.

With the help of syncrogearboxes, i was able to buy the 38T output gear to install my Roamer drive on the quiet gearset i am currently running.

My methanol starts injection around 2250rpm, and maxes out at 4000rpm, due to the 5v being reached. I am currently runnin 3gph + 1gph nozzles, with a 1.5gph activated at 22psi. it was the only way i could run everything and not flood the engine too much at lower rpm.

Initial starts are sluggish at best, but once the wheels are moving, they move better with the 1.211 TC gear set.

Jose and i discussed his schedule, just waiting on a confirmed reply with dates. He is a busy man, and it will be worth it once the true potential of my TD5 is exposed.

fixed my leaky air vents by installin the foams to the bulkhead and not the vents. My floor mats have been dry after heavy rains.

Swapped my uprated OME springs for OME Long travel springs, the ride quality is much better, and the airbagman airsprings keep the rear from squatting. Plus offroad driving feels smoother and less jerky. On the highway i have same near zero roll due to my 33mm front roll bar. Total clearance climbed from 208cm to 213cm. So i am more cautious when enterin underground parking...
