200tdi white smoke and cuts out when revving
I have fitted a new lift pump and the low pressure supply union did not seat well at all, I can see fuel at the union and bubbles.

Would this cause it to produce white smoke and cut out at revs? 1990 200tdi conversion 90

Did it have either of these problems before you changed the pump?

is engine running ruff Question may be injector problems or injector pump and the white smoke is unburnt fuel oil Question

I am reasonably confident that it is air in the system, I have ordered a replacement lift pump with new fittings. The fuel supply to the pump has not sealed and I think air is being sucked in to the fuel system. Will keep you posted. Won't be able to fit until Sunday earliest. 1990 200tdi conversion 90
