What are the G90's like to live with in terms of handling in dry/wet etc? Noisy?

They are reasonable in the dry and wet, providing you don't ask too much of them. Braking in the wet can be entertaining, especially on smooth road surfaces.
In terms of noise they make a fair bit of racket but not too bad and nothing like as loud as Goodyear extra grip used to make.
The biggest problem I found with them was the wear rate. Because there isn't much rubber in contact with the road at any one time, they wear quite quickly. I was replacing them after about 25,000 miles. The thing in their favour is that they were pretty cheap.

Series One not Defender, but I love the look! I actually have to fit these to get the right off set as I have Zeus disc brakes fitted on the front. I also have extended studs front and back - its a big argument in series circles......

How do you find the Zeus discs?

Have you a Lwb Master cylinder & Servo fitted?

The wheels sit nicely on the edge but well within the arches. Handling wise I don't notice a difference really but that may be just due to it being a new vehicle and fairly elderly with poor tyres previously, so haven't been pushing the old girl.

I need to adjust the steering stops to see if I can get more turn. However coming from 110's it already turns on a six pence!

Standard wolf wheels with Goodyear wranglers for comparison of projection from wing.

My sister’s 2013 90 came with an “off road pack” including hd wheels and wrangler tyres.

That looks very nice. I'm sorely tempted to go the body coloured Wolf route, myself. Darren
