Brake light fuse keeps blowing ??
As above, third one in a week, where should I look first ?

check stop/tall light fitting

also check towing socket for water

So..... brake light housing mint, no corrosion, towing socket dry, just realised the top brake light comes on dim when the heated rear window is on, then goes bright when peddle pressed, also no rear wiper or rear door central locking ? Instagram; @gavin_walding

You have bad earth or water shoring out elect connectors

make shore connector Plug C0704 ok

just realised the top brake light comes on dim when the heated rear window is on, then goes bright when peddle pressed, also no rear wiper or rear door central locking

power back feeding if the top brake light comes on dim when the heated rear window is on (water shoring out elect connectors ) as they are two CCT power form two places

Connector Plug C0704 is the common point for both cct check it for short out

and the earth C0565 is down under on the transfer box

no rear wiper or rear door central locking


1. rear wiper cct uses connector Plug C0704 too and earth go down under on the transfer box

2. rear door central locking wiring independent go up roof and down too drives side A pillar at top of windscreen under head lining gray plug
