Are they attempting to? Mine sometimes need a little grease on the mechanism to keep running smooth.
If you can hear the solenoid going on the press of the button, take the door card off and it should be obvious where to lube up.  |

The wires in the rubber boot between the post and doors that don't lock will be broken but still touching occasionally, it's a very common problem. Solder in better quality wire and it should last a long time. Ray

Final step. Is to look if the actuator is pushing enough to make the lock click. Perhaps bent rod Or Just LR tolerances  i had to put 2 windings of tape on the eye of the actuator so it pushes the rod a fraction of a millimeter higher and that solved the problem. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover |

I won't claim to know about that one! 😉
That might actually help me also, it did seem like mine didn't quite have enough travel but seemingly didn't have any adjustment so assumed it must be correct. Lubricant has sorted it for now though. |

Simple thing - check the trim pieces around the push up buttons they sometimes bind on the buttons and cause problems. Just remove them, and bend the button inwards. If the door cards have been removed/replaced this can happen - I know
