Best glue for Puma dashboard?
All:

What’s the best glue/epoxy/cement to use on a Puma dash? The bit that runs across the middle of the dash at the very bottom below the heater controls is snapped off one one end. I tried epoxy but it didn’t hold. I’m considering building a bracket to help support it but I want to glue it too. What brand of glue works?

It seems this is a weak point in the design. Has anyone come up with a different fix?

Thanks,

Paul.

I had a split in the rear door card which might be similar plastic. I used Araldite with a plastic support piece across the split. Held for the 18 months I had it after the repair.

Thanks! Looking on eBay (since nobody sells it here in the USA) there are several different types of Araldite. Which one was it?

Hi sorry, didn't look where you are based.
Its Araldite two part epoxy.
Two versions here, rapid -which sets in 5mins, hard in an hour or normal -which sets in an hour and hard in 8 hours.
I used the rapid.
