Another little job done this evening. Got a raptor binnacle mount to replace my original plastic one.

I hadn't realised how bad it was until I fully removed it. Totally broken!

The new one looks loads better. The dash even lines up as landrover intended! I might make a cover panel for the side out of the original plastic to make it look factory

A bit of colour coding today. Long over due dirt defenders and I had a spare numberplate light cover so did that too

Good spraying skills the finish looks great. Did you use rattle cans? And what primer?

I used novol plastic primer

followed by solvent base coat from my spray gun and then a few coats of simoniz acrylic lacquer.

Trick is to keep the aerosol warm in hot water in a bucket. Then about 10 mins between coats.

Got impatient and fitted the light cover haha

very neat that grafty! you can get the raptor binnacle to with it too. We fitted one to my dads, and it looks well smart mind.

Yeah I looked at the binnacle but there were a couple of niggles, you can't use the illuminated heater controls which I quite like. They do look solid though! 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

The heater control panel you can get from ebay but it would need a bit of a rework to get it to fit right. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I already have illuminated panels, they don't fit with the metal binnacle unfortunately.

Got the arch extensions on today. Looking much better than when they were black

how do you get the illuminated feature? I bought my dad a replacement binnacle which has the feature, he bummed the metal one off me sadly. So I thought

it I will use it if I can.
