I haven't wired the isolation switch yet as I haven't found a connector for it yet so have just earthed them as the isolation switch only switches the earth.
The only issue with the sunroof panel I've found is that you have to be careful cutting the hole in the back of the cubby as there is very little room for error on the one edge of the panel, as the clips are right on its outer edge meaning that if you cut too much of the outer vinyl or leather, it'll leave a gap between the panel and whatever's covering your cubby. Thankfully trim glue saved the day on that one ![]() Hopefully if all that makes sense, you'll see what I mean when you get yours ![]() |

Smart! Very smart! I was thinking of putting smaller switches (from a BM) on the door card and a button on the dash that just raises the rear windows to the top

So the rear electric windows are all in and working but I wasn't happy with the provided mount for the switches so decided to to put them in the doors. Managed to get the surrounds for the switches in this evening
![]() Click image to enlarge A bit neater than the switches hanging out of the door cards ![]() So as mentioned above I just need to wire the rear switches up so I have a set in the front so I can use them while driving Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

I like that, wish I could trust myself with wiring anything, my 90 would like spontaneously combust if I did it

The wiring kit came with the leccy Windows so all I had to do was extend a few of them to reach the doors, it not that hard I'm sure you could do it ![]() My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

Update just for Tiger
![]() Finally started fitting the wiring for the heated screen and mirrors today ![]() Click image to enlarge Doesn't look much but with tidying up a few previously run wires under the dash and adding wires for the mirrors it took me a good few hours ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge All the heated screen wiring is in and the dash back together but I'll have to connect the mirrors up tomorrow as I've run out of light and while the door trims are off I'll fix the central locking broken wire for the drivers door.
