Hi Rob, yeah the headlights are still going strong and working perfectly. Much better light output than standard but I will say that from seeing pictures of light output and spread from the more expensive and bigger named brands it would be even better to get a set of noldens/jws etc. The ones I have are a lot brighter than standard but the light spread could be better. I'll be putting these on the mrs defender and getting some noldens for myself when I've done a few other jobs Thumbs Up Ray

thanks for the update, great to hear they are going well. I am going to get a pair, one of my current lamps has a hole in the glass.

Like most people I have a long list of defender items to spend on Smile and as these lamps appear to be reliable, legal and an improvement that is perfect for now.

I'll leave them to harden for a couple of days before fitting them with the stainless bolts I bought from 4x4 overlander ages ago but this is all temporary until gore brings out a full 110 hinge kit.

What brand are those hinges? They look very well made. The last set I got where covered in casting defects!

I'm not sure, I got them off eBay and they were described as oem premium but they came in plain cardboard box. Hopefully they are only temporary so I wasn't too fussed about brand. Ray

This was where I got them but the ad has changed a bit so make of that what you will.

Fitted the hinges today (no pics as it looks just the same as before) and the doors shut much nicer again Mr. Green Ray
