i take it you were at " county " garage ? they always like a good look at a " different " defender

i went pass there today and they have got a nice 110 adventure for sale, up on ramps so you see it more clearly among the LR euro box collection

Yeah it was County LR

The adventure has been there a while now but it is nice to see they still have good defender stock

Not to bad in the " parts " place, once they get to know you

not been passed there for a while, so at least they have got the best one up on show for all to see, so when you pass you cant miss it

They are really good in the parts department. I must say that I was surprised they had a rear mat in stock!

It does look nice up above the rest

I'm always surprised that 9 times out of 10 they have the part you want and if they dont, it can be there within 1-2 days time, good service

looks lot more neater with the mat in place, have you got the rear end kitted out with the plastic trims yet? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Yeah the parts department are good service, body shop and workshop not so much

Yeah the mat finishes it off nicely procta, the trims are in the pipeline. They're probably going to be trimmed in alcantara to match the headlining so they will probably be a while with the trimmers

In all seriousness though, the alcantara window trims really complete the interior and help quieten things down a touch as it absorbs the sound rather than hard plastic reflecting it. Nothing drastic but every little bit helps

As the weather was poor today I decided to spend some of it in the workshop. Unfortunately my phone has gone back to Samsung for some warranty work so no photos until I get it back

I drilled some holes into my new rear door card

and installed internal rear handle illumination inside with puddle and open marker lights

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I'll get some pictures when I can
