Yes there is a hole for a switch on the binnacle.. i have ordered a loom Thumbs Up 1993 200Tdi Defender 90

I am sure you can get a loom with a proper switch to fit too. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I would be looking at door adjustment. I can't see daylight through my seals at 3 figure speeds Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

looks like new hinges and a tweak with the door striker. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
