Ive got an ARB heavy duty one under my drivers seat and store the airline under there, it's a little tight but does fit. Obviously drives the difflock as well. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Not got a diff-lock just yet, but may end up with one in the future. Do you guys have air tank /reservoir too? what's the benefit - presume it's just a bit quicker to pump tyres up etc and you may be able to run air tools off it if the tanks big enough...

I haven't got an air tank, the compressor is quick enough for pumping up tyres, though I don't think you could use it to pop a bead back on. Airtools... just go electric nowadays. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

On red 110 300 TDi we have an engine mounted compressor, a 9 litre air tank under floor. The pressure gauge/switch is mounted just by O/S middle door with a long coil airline n the cargo barrier.
The tank will hold 150 psi/10 bar. From stopping, inflating all tyres from 20psi to 38 psi takes about 8 minutes to moving off. Just be careful using high pressure/high volume on diff lockers as they can create problems Brendan |
