You can't run a standard Puma on biodiesel - amongst other issues, injector pressures are too great for fuel to remain stable - does that answer your question? Regular diesel will contain small percentages of biodiesel - which is fine.

Not really.
I know that engines with similar pressure fuel injection systems will run on bio diesel (100%) and I know for a fact that these puma's will run at 30-35% with no apparent difference. |

(Bio proportion first)
50%/50% from April to October (give or take) 20%/80% from October to April Note: no liability can be accepted should someone wish to try this. |

so there you go....
the 30-35% I been using ![]() I mean have been thinking of using should be alright do you know how many miles they use the landys for? and are they registered for the road? - the reason I ask this is cause I just wonder if they're EU2 modified? |

As far as I'm aware:-
Reckon its about 75k and they are registered on road. Many of the previous [non puma] Defenders have done this mileage, the majority of miles on the Biodiesel mix as posted. ![]() Note: no liability can be accepted should someone wish to try this. and I only popped over here cos the Disco3 site was down this morning ![]() |

well, I'm very pleased you did - pop over.
very interesting, not that I really doubted it (I produce a little bio myself and so long as its half decent stuff). however there's alot of talk about the Def 2 not running on it ![]() |
