No separate fuse, as I recall, but it can be a right pain getting the bulb to seat correctly in the holder. There is also a connector between the heater control lights sub harness and the main dash light harness, if this is dislodged you'll have no heater lights.
You may also find that those bulbs can overheat when failing and damage the uber-expensive heater control panel. Ask me how I know! |

All sorted! They all just needed a gentle push right home, now all four working.
The Lucas part number is LLB286, they are 1.2w capless bulbs on a 2011 puma, not the 501 capless as metioned somewhere else on the forum. |

I know because one cold wet night I couldn't turn the b****y fan off speed 3 after demisting! The bulb for the fan switch had melted the backside of the panel to such an extent that the slider was stuck.
That panel is something like £500 too, it went up from around £80 about a month before I needed one. In the end I reshaped mine and it has been ok since, though intentionally I have left that bulb out. |
