Just a quick question,
Is the nanocom unit to be uses as well as or instead of the scanurgauge?? I see that they do similar things but the nanocom is much bigger. Also it the nanocom is to replace the scanurgauge where do you plan on mounting it? Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Russell, the scangauge is fitted in my landy permanently to monitor water temp, air temp etc and reset any fault codes to get me home if the need arises. Due to its size it is ideal compared to mounting the nanocom which as you say is much bigger. The scangauge is just a very handy and cheap scan tool, as you cannot change anything in the ecu with it. The nanocom is a very different beast as it allows programming of key fobs, injectors etc. Also goes into more detail in monitoring vehicle systems than the scangauge to allow fault finding. I personally would not leave this in the vehicle mounted as you can bypass the alarm and immobiliser with it meaning a scrot in the know could hotwire your landy and be away with it. (Admittedly the alarm would sound until bypassed) Will look into this more once I get the OBDII splitter cable as it is a right royal pain just now disconnecting the scangauge to allow the nanocom to be fitted

Got it to register by just putting the product code and email address in, if I tried to add my name/address etc it didn't work Andy
