2004 110 TD5 CSW
After looking for a 110 Td5 for several months i eventually found one i was happy with, i'd travelled up and down the country and not found one that matched my criteria.

Originally wanted an XS but struggled to find one in my price range, mileage and condition.

So i bought this one.

Clean and tidy with probably the most comprehensive service history of any vehicle i've ever had so i'm happy with it.

Had it just over 2 weeks now. Few bits i want to do to improve it, i've just ordered some stuff from MUD which should be here today Smile

When i picked it up

Bought luggage rail from Patriot and fitted

Then i gave it a proper clean, something it needed properly, it's amazing what decent products can do over a bottle of fairy that some people still use.

Once i've some decent time, i'll give it a proper once over, also sealed all the glass with G-Techniq which makes driving in the rain so much easier.

Does the spary foam actual get the vehicle clean, or do you still need to agitate said foam to remove all the crud? Thinking of buying an attachment for my Karcher.

It does if used correctly, firstly the car needs to be polished, waxed and sealed using decent products.

The snow foam needs to be filled with warm water to activate ir properly and then leave it to dwell for approx 15 minutes, i usually re coat it after 10 mins. then blast off.

I haven't washed my RS Turbo by hand for probably 3 years, the snow foam removes flys, brake dust and other crap well, but all areas MUST be sealed, it's a tedious job to get the car right in first plsce, but worth it when it comes to cleaning.

Also, my RS probably never does more than 100 mile between washes.

Nice.

As we all know like a fine wines a Defenders quality is very dependent on the year.

2004 I believe was the very best year.

I'll see if i can get a replacement at the donnington show next weekend, as much as it still works and is purposeful, i don't like the fact it's bent.

Today I set about whipping door card off as CL not working. Found problem and part ordered.

Glad I had my pick set as removing the horse shoe clip on window winder was tricky.

Also found my door seals were cause of the wet foot wells so going to treat it to a full new set including bottom seals and weather strips

Also I went to donnington 4x4 show. Bought new steering guard and some wind deflectors. As well as extended front seat rails from 4x4 over lander.

Will get them fitted next weekend or one night this week but got the wind deflectors fitted when I got home
