Which Dinitrol kit do I buy?
My truck in just turning a year, only seen 9k miles and with the salt on the way I am going to get some protection under it. On the flat dog website they offer new and used but I suspect the used just includes some rust convertor and would be better? Also does one kit always give you plenty?
Thanks

I was going to signpost you to Flatdog and their kits when I read the post title but you're already ahead. There are of course other suppliers and some great forum sponsors who can and will assist.

Based on the age and mileage, and not having seen under your truck, in my opinion you could go with either kit, and possibly supplement the 'new' kit with a rust converter if needed.

I'd also suggest that you give Flatdog (and other suppliers) a ring and they will tell you what you need to know. Some, including Flatdog, will do the job for you - for what I think is a reasonable fee given the context.

Cheers,

Will

PS and don't forget the ACF 50 if you're preparing for the inclement weather - and in my case, I won't forget Captain Tolleys finest!

As I am over in NI we don't have the option to be able to drive to the number of great companies as you can so we have to get our hands dirty.. Smile that's why this forum is so good as help and advice is always to hand.

Will give flat dog a call this morning. I was crawling under the truck a lot recently running some cables and to be honest it's like new just the usual surface rust on the arm joints etc which I can tidy up. Really think I will have a go at this myself as I can take my time and use my van in the meantime.

Absolutely have a go at the underbody protection yourself!

There's plenty of advice and guidance on this Forum and on t'internet. Wink Bow down

If you take your me you'll do the best possible job, and you'll identify any issues and familiarise yourself with our truck - getting intimate! Embarassed

There are many, many jobs you can and should do yourself.

I am quite averse to spending money unnecessarily, however I thought the aforementioned costs associated with a 3rd party getting dirty, banging their head, and having to clean up, we're quite modest. That is, if you haven't got the time or are physically unable to do the work yourself. Thumbs Up

Enjoy!
