It is years since I last saw a full sledge, and longer still since I last saw someone who could swing one accurately and effectively (and safely).

Blimey I never knew that!

Some people are a mine of useful information Razz

You live and learn!

Would not be capable of swinging a full sledge hammer now, safely or unsafely!

Oooops sorry this is the grumpy old man thread, not the educate your fellow Defender driver!

I recall that Mike Tyson’s punch was measured by a device once that indicated that being hit by his punch was equivalent to being hit by a full sledge hammer. No wonder many of his opponents did not last much past the first rounds. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Back on topic.....

Individuals who get promoted at work, have a total character change in an instant, start carrying imaginary carpets under their armpits, puffing out their chests and batting way above their station.

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

Can we add

Towing - Speed limit is 60 on a motorway, its not a minimum, its not defined by the car you driver, the time of day or how late you are

Also lane 3 is not for you, you shouldnt be in it...just because you have a boat or a glider in a trailer, still means you cant use lane three, you cant over take me when cruise control is saying 70, while im overtaking a lorry...

5 times in 2 weeks, caravans, boats, car trailers gliders all going above 70 2 using lane 3...my gears are well and truly grinded! Mike
