Gearbox drain plug won't budge
To day l attempted to change the oil in my 04 ninety defender. The filler plug undone ok but the drain plug which was 3/8" square socket (not sure what right terminology) but not the usual plug with a copper washer. I gave up trying to budge it fearing l might strip it or something . What do you experts think I should try to shift this. I ended up just topping up the level it looked very clean. I used the Trailer Fitters trick of using a bent plastic tie.

Being an 04, it will be a TD5? I thought with the R380 the correct level was with the oil level with the filler plug? 1999 Defender TD5 110
