Defender C/V joints
Going to be rebuilding my front axle soon (Defender 300 tdi) which will include replacing the c/v’s cannot justify going to Ashcroft standard but any advice on what make to go for?

I've got a pair of cv's and front shafts that were removed from a Td5 with just delivery miles on them

By experience with my 90 Td5 with 35" Simexes, I have a feeling that none abs CV's are stronger then ABS CV's.

An ABS CV is the same as a None ABS CV but has ABS signal slots cut in the outer ring. My none ABS break the inner parts and the ABS CV break the out part.

On the right 3 x a none ABS CV on the left on the plastic a new original LR ABS CV. (You might have to zoom in to see the difference).
The ABS CV exploded very soon after this picture. Big Cry Roel
