SOMETIMES my MY2008 Puma's revs stay high when I change gears (take foot off accelerator) for a second or two, before dropping down.
What's causing this? Thanks, www.ralton.co.za

It is a pressure switch and, easily, IT IS the problem. If you want test, short circuit the connector with a piece of electric wire (harness side, not the switch) and test the car. Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License
