If you mean the Landrover steering "guard" bar below you need a spacer on the o/s or n/s,can't remember which,lol, bout £5 from lr,some peeps pack it out with a load of washers,good idea to wax oil the inside,or use spray/axle grease,I painted (rustoleum) and stuck some clear vinyl film to mine to protect it from stone chips anorl.I get the impression they wont last long without.

That's exactly what it is.
It's secured with 4 bolts (3 of which are already on the vehicle). The 4th has the spacer etc and utilises a hole that's already there. Our last 110 had this already on and whilst it doesn't offer the same strength as the large plates, I feel that its a bit more discrete and will do the job. It is something that can be specified on a new build from the factory for about £80. |
