Puma engine cover removal.
Just checking -To remove the Puma 2.2 engine cover I just remove the two from bolts and lift off?

It is held at the back by a big circular disc thingy (very technical i know). But i presume a firm upwards motion is enough to remove it. There is no third bolt at the back anywhere?

Thanks.

As you say, two bolts top front, and peg that locates in hole at rear. To remove, undo bolts, lift front, push back, lift off

Thanks Andy Thumbs Up

I just wanted to make sure that the rear 'locator' disc thing wasn't a bolt or clip or anything before just yanking it off.

Does that disc serve any other purpose than the location of the cover?

So i've put it back on by locating the to front bolts and firmly thumping the rear of the cover to locate the disc?
