Following on from Dgardels 'collision' report (glad no injury) (shame about the Fiat) I want to get one of the rear step/tow bars as mentioned but found quite a difference in prices. I don't like spending more than necessary but even more....I prefer to buy quality. I've seen the NAS rear tow step (Extreme 4x4) for £374 and NAS style tow bar/step (Simmonites) for £274. Does the word 'style' indicate cheaper cause its not the real deal.
Your greater knowledge and experience greatly appreciated. |

At present type approved rules don't apply to vehicles registered as commercial so theoretically any towbar can be fitted to say a 110 UTILITY version of June 09 onwards without upsetting vosa. Must be type approved for standard station wagons though. 1986 v8 110 station wagon current 2009 puma 110 xs utility station wagon latest addition |

Apparently true - anything van like (i personally dont get it) anything car like it has to be, you could have a good argument on a double cab or similar! There were going to change this in 04 - i assume they didnt, really cant see why a its the way round it is, sure it should be the other way, commercials do and others dont Mike |
