speaking to a main dealer today, I was told there will be 3 limited editions, all will be mechanically the same as the current 2014 model but will be blinged up , even told me the edition names (cant remember but think one was Thor!) said if you want one to expect to pay over £40k!! time will tell!! DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

Don't get me wrong, would love to have a final edition with a V8 auto but I don't think it will happen.... That is why I had my 50th fully restored by Simon.

I hope they do continue to build the defender somewhere else Thumbs Up I'll keep my Td5 90 and keep replacing the bits that drop off. If I buy another new LR product it'll be the discovery vision concept along side my old 90 Thumbs Up 2001 Td5 CSW (weekend and snow mobile) Plenty of lights, M/T tyres EGR delete, roofrack, swing away wheel carrier, snorkel.

I was told today MY 15 will end this year as the last of the orders then production of special editions will start maybe 2 or 3 then a 18 month gap before the new one in 2017

Dealer also confirmed this with me last week but had no idea about drive train
