Out of interest do you use the road side wash people or a pressure washer ?
We are finding in the workshop getting lots of cars in with rusty brakes ( mainly rears ) wiring problems etc all from water being blasted in when it should not get in normal use .
My dad always used to say steam or pressure washing a car is the worst thing to do

funny enough I just fitted a pair of stop-tail rdx leds to the 110 yesterday, they came with the foam gaskets and i popped a bit of captain tolleys on then just in case. look fine to me and £28 a pair a bit of a bargain

well thats just over a month they've lasted since my last post.

I wrapped them in duct tape and I've emptied them when they started letting water in, but the contacts corroded to the point they've snapped off when I took them off and the bulb fell apart when I took them out yesterday.

Luckily I kept the standard orange ones which are now back on the truck

Any recommendations for ones that don't leak? (other than my standard orange ones lol) May look at the NAS ones or LED's when I get around to it.

Mine have been on over 18 months, Lots of off road use, including under water lol ... still faultless and like new.

What make are yours? Have RDX on mine Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

Is this a case of getting some gasket paper or foam and cutting your own heavier duty gaskets; or is there more to it?
