2006 Defender 110 Td5 USW Zermatt Silver
Thanks Thumbs Up

So I would be after a VAST 110SW kit for a 110 double cab. Is that correct?

No because the SW comes with rear door hinge bolts that you won't need. I would contact them and get what you want specific or buy the items you want individually / request a price.

* Don't quote me exactly on what exactly the kit contains as I haven't looked into it. WeWillWinπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

If Nak could supply in parts that you can buy door bolts or similar individually as Stigs do then I'd go for Nak. But I realise their issue of shipping over here does that in. Having said all this with various kits, many of us have bolt on extras which may require extra bolts anyway.
Plenty to think about. WeWillWinπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

For any of you that unfortunately missed out on getting one of these bolt kits before Christmas I can confirm that it is really good and well worth still getting.
Like for like swapping of each bolt all in various packs and includes the "special paste"
Time consuming job which I like but the results are great and really comprehensive.
Only slight difficulty is working out what goes where! Most of it is self explanatory as you work through it but at some point I might have to ask what some bits are for. WeWillWinπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

The bolt kits are back in stock in Germany.

They are being despatched to us on the 6th January when we are back in the UK. They should be with us on the 8th.

The Nakatanenga kits are the only ones with the GENUINE heads on the door bolts and is the most comprehensive kits available.

Paul - Stick to the Nak kit mate, it's really good! Just unfortunate that the stock ran out when it did.

Brendan - Fitted most of mine but getting down to some of the bolts and screws I'm not sure on.
If I post up some photos could you tell me what goes where?
There is some allen head screws I've got there that I have no clue on, I have a suspicion it might be for the SW air con grille which I don't have.
Could be wrong though. WeWillWinπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

As I mentioned above I'm thinking XS air con grille but could be wrong, I don't have air con anyway but interested to know.
Anyone?

P.S. Sorry about photo quality was a bit dark, they are allen headed too. WeWillWinπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

They're not for an air con grill. That doesn't use any nuts and bolts.

Something to do with the rear seats, maybe? Darren

Perhaps they're for something behind the grill - possibly the slam panel stays or rad supports. Darren

Could be, leaving them for now and continuing the rest.
Very pleased with them so far.

Steve, why not sending a PM to nakatanenga? They are a site sponsor here, and often are posting themselves under that very nakatanenga username. Think many people here will be interested in their answer and clarification. Thumbs Up
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

These are for the front grille if you like them.

For the aircon grille are different options:
reuse the original plasic thingies
use the supplied Alan bolts

We do not do different kits for different model years, we just add as many variations as possible, so that means you will have spare bolts.......which is always good if you are a Defender owner Wink WANTED:
