I think they may replace the four lower torq bolts in the cross member. Would have preferred to replace them with torq though rather than hex heads. Small thing I know.

I thought one of the big selling points of this kit was the use of original heads ....

I've been interested in this kit for a while and a lot of my bolts are coming to a stage where they need to be changed soon due to corrosion starting. Just a shame you have to buy the lot in a single kit as the price I can understand but is a bit much in one go for me at the mo. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Came across this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defen...5632e43f34 from Stig fasteners too. Anyone tried their offering too? Don't doubt the Nak quality though. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Steve, I have the full set for my 110 SW from Stig Fasteners. They are holding up perfectly for 4.5 years now. (I had my dealer replace the whole lot after 6 months when one door hinge screw started to turn a bit brown. First class product Stig Fasteners. Thumbs Up
Incidentally, it was quite a job to change the whole lot, someone at my dealers had given me an estimate of 3 hours for the job Shocked , but in the end it took them 14 hours to replace every nut, bolt, screw, realign doors, etc.
I was shocked when I saw the invoice, but luckily the fact that someone there who was not well informed gave me that estimate, made them cut the invoice by 50%.

Ah good to hear, only thing that I can think of that I'd need is the anti corrosion paste. Confused Not sure how easy that is to get hold of? _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Very easy. This is the stuff you need.

There are numerous sellers in the UK, even on ebay or amazon.
I could not find it here in Switzerland, so bought it recently from one of those via their website, Gael Force Marine in the UK. They shipped the tube promptly to Switzerland. It will get used by my dealers here next week for two small Startech upgrades Whistle Whistle Whistle

Eric - Just found it on ebay, thought I heard someone mention they couldn't get hold of it so assumed it was a general thing. Turns out it is more difficult to get abroad than here. It's mainly my door hinge bolts and bonnet hinge bolts that are critical at the moment, especially one bonnet hinge bolt. Again one of those things LR don't bother with from the factory even to date which often or not does mean a lot more costs under warranty when Owners get them replaced. Instead of doing this or proper under sealing they do silly things like putting Defender on the bonnet instead. Rolling Eyes _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Yes at first sight the Nakatanenga kits does look expensive.

However it does include a tube of anti corrosion paste which with any of the other kits is an extra £13-18!

Yes the kits have the correct head shape for the door bolts, which no other kit does.

At about 430 pieces in the kit is much more extensive and complete then the other kits available.

You pays your money and takes your choice.
