Australia 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Santorini Black
Clutch plate
Hi all looks like my gearbox is comming out for a rebuild as firt gear sounds a bit funny
Has any one got any tips on rebuild ???
Also i really want to upgrade my clutch and pressure plate to a solid fly wheel and heavy duty clutch
as the dual mass ones are quite useless
Ive had three cluthes since new and been told a solid flywheel would benifit car greatly

The Puma doesn't have a Dual Mass Flywheel, the Td5 did. This might be useful -

If your Defender is an 08 Puma as your profile suggests, then you already have a solid flywheel, they all do. There was a number of issues with early clutches (springs falling out of the driven plate) and you may have had problems, but the current plates seem to be OK.

Edit: beaten to it again!
