Will you actually want the driving lights on without headlamps? If not an ON-OFF would do. On with heads - Off - On independently makes sense for roof mounted lights which you may want to use as work lights or have on independently because the headlamps are submerged! But I probably wouldn't bother with an ON-OFF-ON for bumper or A-bar mounted lamps myself.

I asked the same thing further up. I've got 2x KC daylighters on my 110, both 100 odd watts. They come on/off with main beam. not switched. no probs or hassle.

here is a copy of the land rover spotlight fitting kit, all you would need to add would be an isolator switch. This gives you an idea of how they do it in the factory... good or bad Shocked

You could just tap off the high beam feed in the cab and supply the on contacts of your independant switch. Would cut down on wiring and still be independantly isolated by your switch from the normal main beam headlights. Of course you'd only be using two of your three sets of contacts. The extra set could be used for further lights if you wish to add more later perhaps?

If you've the switch in manual on from your diagram you would have to operate the switch manually to dip them. Bit of a faff if you've an unexpected motorist heading towards you.

Thumbs Up
