Chevy Ls1 specialist down south?
Hi all,

Anyone know any good people with knowledge/experience with the Chevy LS1 engine? want to make a few changes and run some tests on mine to see how it is running and or could be improved upon.. I have a marine ECU which is very basic for both diagnostics and tuning capability but good if wet Smile.

Thanks
Nick

I've not found anyone in particular in the UK however I've used Claremont Corvette for some service items and spares...

They may be able to point you in the right direction at least.

Most of the spares for mine I've ended up buying in from the US, usually from http://www.jegs.com but I have got UK sources and part numbers for a few bits and pieces. So far I've done all the work on mine myself, it's a pretty easy engine to work on, on the whole most of it is pretty well thought out and being a modern design it uses reusable gaskets.

Oil filters can be sourced in the UK if you ask for a K&N HP-1007, things may have improved in the last 5 years but when I first fitted mine nobody listed an oil filter for the LS1 or could supply the FRAM filter mine came with. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/
